About us
Just like all teenagers, Velta is growing fast – so fast, in fact, that we were bursting out of our old premises. In June this year, we moved to our new home (the second upgrde to larger premises in 4 years!), which gives us bags of space for our next growth spurt (and the one after that).
So what’s our thing? Well, we love warehousing, logistics, distribution and e-commerce. And we love to do them right.
Anybody can move a shipment from A to B. It’s adding value that counts. We’ll stick on labels, sort products, do your quality control and organise internet sales and distribution throughout Europe and the world.
Doug Reynolds founded Velta in 1999, starting out as an international freight forwarder. With his trusty team, he grew the company organically for six or seven years, based on an ethos of absolute quality.
Today we have our own customs department, we have CFSP (Customs Freight Simplified Procedures) status, which allows for accelerated removal or release of most third country imports, and we are AEO (Authorised Economic Operator)approved.
